Our History

uanaGlamp is a micro-enterprise born from its owner’s dream of returning to the province of Guanacaste, where she spent much of her childhood.
Her idea to achieve this was to create a space that resembled that calm, quiet place, full of nature and cattle ranches like her father’s, and for the past 10 years, she has dedicated herself to loving the land where the glamping is now located.
We are located in the canton of Santa Cruz, the cradle of national folklore, on the hills of the Huacas area. All the best beaches in Costa Rica are very close to our hotel.

Our glamping site is also an ideal place to explore the region’s national parks, including Rincón de la Vieja, Miravalles Volcano, Guanacaste Conservation Area, Palo Verde, Barra Honda, Las Baulas Marine National Park, and several other points of interest. You can also book various activities and excursions through a local tour operator, such as diving, snorkeling, sport fishing, horseback riding, hiking, hot springs, cave exploration, canopy tours, Tarzan swing, and many more ecotourism and adventure options. Just let us know what you like the most, and we’ll help you plan your days so you don’t miss out on anything.

If I could rate this a 10/5 I would. I stayed 4 nights at Guanaglamp and I wish I could have stayed longer. It was beautiful, peaceful and tranquil. It was exactly what the soul needed to regenerate and find peace after we have all had a couple of tough years. Pictures and words cannot do it justice. When I arrived and Josue showed me to my tent, all I could say was “wow” and when we walked through the tent to the deck and the beautiful scenery all I could say was “wow”. I loved sitting on the deck in the morning listening to the birds and what I recently found out were Howler Monkeys. As beautiful and peaceful as it is, it is also close to the beaches at Tamarindo and it is close to Hucas if you want to go to the beach for the day or go our for a nice meal. It is the best of both worlds Gaby, Josue and Ysa are wonderful and have thought of everything to make your stay a unique and unforgettable experience. I will absolutely stay here again. I am already planning my next vacation to Costa Rica and this accommodation.
